The Law of Attraction - Not a Quick Fix Idea

This article is a follow up on previous published articles. I strongly advice you to first read the previous articles in the series before reading this one.

Millions and millions of people have read The Secret and all of them have become conscious to the fact that the Law of Attraction is applicable on everyone, all the time, whether you believe in it or not. The million dollar question then is why it doesn't work as everybody wants it to work? Aren't we supposed to see millions of new millionaires?

The secret to The Secret is that it isn't a quick fix idea and neither was it ever supposed to be one. Like anything else in this world, the Law of Attraction is governed by principles. Principles like perseverance, integrity, commitment and responsibility that are part of who you are as a being, applied in any situation, determines the success you will achieve.

Only once you have learned, understood, internalized and applied basic principles, you will achieve long lasting success. How can you ask something from God without the perseverance to believe that you will receive it? How can anything become a reality if you have never developed the responsibility to be pro-active, to take action, and to make it happen? Once it is a part of who you are as a being, your life won't only be recognized by a series of random incidents but by a lifestyle of intently asks and receives.

And once again principles can not be developed through a guide that will give you quick steps towards it. It is easy to apply something that looks and sounds like a principle when you move downstream. A principle is only a principle when you can apply it consistently in all circumstances, especially the most difficult ones.

Where do principles come from? How do you develop them, or rather make them part of who you are?

Principles are made part of who you are by pursuing a journey that is lived out of a comfort zone. Only then will the Law of Attraction fulfill its original and full purpose. Then it is not only a random law that gives one instant gratification, but it becomes a law that turns people into history makers and world shakers (feel free to read my article on becoming a History Maker and a World Shaker.)

The following article (The Law of Attraction: Rule # 1) will be on making principles a part of who you are as a human being and will also be the first in a series of 5 rules set out in the Bible towards using the Law of Attraction.
